| Day-1 | Nukus Muynak Ustyurt Aral sea This tour gives you emotions about our beautiful nature and history Travelling to the Aral Sea is a good chance to feel a real atmosphere of this area . Our journey starts with departure from Nukus at 8:30. 9:20 Excursion to the Mizdakhan Necropolis and Gyaur-Kala are two famous ancient archeological sites located in close proximity to each other . Mizdakhan is mentioned in many legends . It is a spiritual site revered by pilgrims . In Gyaur Kala you will see an amazing labyrinth of the ancient inner city and a great view of Mizdakhan Necropolis . We go on our trtip with Muynak whis is the most historical and touristic area of Karakalpakstan . We will visit to the cemetery of ships where the abondened ships seem to be frozen in time . You will walk down to the graveyard and listen to the story of the Aral sea tragedy . Then we can have a lunch in Muynak . Citizens of this city prepare for you a really delicious and traditional cuisine of Karakalpakstan . After leaving the modern roads of Muynak . Our real journey to the Aral Sea begins through the Ustyurt plateau the desert was the bottom of Aral Sea in the past . You will ascend the Ustyurt in the off-road vehicles . Finally here you can have a rest in a yurt on the Aral Sea shore . You will take a walk to the sea and ENJOYING by having an outdoor dinner and watching the view of the Aral Sea , spending a night in comfortable traditional Karakalpak yurts . |
| Day-2 | Seeing sunrise over the Aral Sea . Fresh air , a sound of sea wave, sunrise over the sea and of course outdoor breakfast among of these gives you unforgettable emotions . After the breakfast , we will prepare for the return trip . Excursion to the ancient complex of Kurgancha Kala (Davletgirey). You will take a walk to the remains of a large trading complex, which was built in such a deserted place specifically for the trade of the settled inhabitants of the Khorezm kingdom with numerous nomads. The lonely village of Kubla-Ustyurt with an airstrip. Here you will learn how it happened that people still live in the middle of the desert, where there is no human habitation for a hundred kilometers around. Those who wish will be able to go into the house of a camel driver and taste camel milk The abandoned fishermen's village of Urga looks like a world after the apocalypse. The ruins of a Russian city where exiled Cossacks and their descendants lived, an Orthodox cemetery on a mountain, a half-ruined factory, a salted lake shore, wooden fishing boats and an endless expanse of reeds. Near the fishing camp you will have a place for a short rest. We continue our journey and you will again be greeted by the modern city of Nukus • Tour duration: 2 days, 1 night • Total distance: 900 km. • Transportation: off-road 4WD vehicle (Toyota Land Cruiser / Toyota Prado) with an experienced driver. One off-road car takes up to 4 passengers only. • Time to the Yurt camp at the Aral Sear: 8 hours • What to bring: Safe and protective hiking or sport shoes, trousers, long sleeve shirts, a hat/cap, warm jacket, sunblock, sunglasses, repellents. Warm clothes are needed for the autumn and spring seasons. • Meals: 4 times during the trip. Meals can be coordinated according to the wishes of the guests, including vegetarian or halal dishes. Alcoholic beverages and cigarettes are not included.
